[Bahrain] Glass Processing Plant To Be Built

According to recent news reports, an industrial complex for glass processing for architectural works is to be set up in Bahrain. Glasstech Industries, a custom glass manufacturing company, will set up the facility, which will produce a range of glasses in varying sizes including toughened, laminated, insulated, sandblasted and screen printed. Total annual production is expected to be around a million meters. At a meeting with members of Glasstech Industries & Bahrain's Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro, it was announced that the investment will initially create 75 new jobs and increase exports. Agreements with leading international manufacturers for the supply of the plant's production lines has already been agreed.
