Baccarat - Back Into Profit From Year-Ago Losses

Crystal maker Baccarat, part of French luxury goods and hotel group Societe du Louvre, reported an EUR 600,000 net attributable profit for the first half of 2004, compared to an EUR 5.9M net attributable loss for the same period of 2003. The crystal maker posted an operating profit of EUR 1.47M. No comparative figure was available. Baccarat announced net sales of EUR 56.4M, up 13.5% year-on-year.
