The Automatic Inspection Of Fluorescent Tube Blanks Using On-Line Vision System Technology

The manufacture of fluorescent tube lamps has always been a highly automated production process using a variety of glass and metal components. This paper deals with the use of computerised vision systems to automatically inspect the outer glass tube blank, in order to meet the demands of the fluorescent lamp works assembly process.
