Amcor Glass of Australia has recently brought onstream its latest NNPB production line, combining two IS machines with 20 sections each. Used at the hot end is Heye International's latest technology, including servo invert, high speed pusher Simotion servo technology. Together with high performance equipment at the cold end, up to 800 bottles/minute can be produced. Serving the wine industries of Australia and New Zealand, Amcor produces over 1M wine bottles/day. The plant is located near the Barossa Valley, north of Adelaide and features 3 of the world's largest dedicated glass manufacturing furnaces. Built in 2002, G1 shop produces 450/tpd; G2 shop (2004) produces 420/tpd; and G3 shop produces another 450/tpd.
