Art Design Tendencies

The artistic approach to glass has greatly changed through the years and after World War II it took a brand new direction with the international "Studio Glass Movement" which also started in Germany. Artists have become independent, sometimes to the extent of possessing their very own furnaces and freely expressing their creativity to the fullest. This paper looks at a selection of modern German glass artists and how their individual styles differ from the other.
