Following an independent external audit carried out by CSI, the Notified Certification Body, Solaglas Sittingbourne is pleased to announce their attainment of AoC1 certification, in accordance with the requirements of EN14449:2005. AoC1 certification is the highest level required by the European Directive for production sites of bullet-resistant glazing for the building sector. This means that with immediate effect Solaglas Sittingbourne is certified to produce bullet-resistant laminated glass, including innovative glass/polycarbonate options. These products will form part of their high performance security range, incorporating intruder resistant & blast resistant glass products.
