Arc International Opens Jewellery Chain

French tableware manufacturer Arc International is launching a chain of costume jewellery outlets under the trade name Salviati. An outlet opened on 19 May at Lille in north-eastern France following the opening of five pilot stores in Paris, and a store is scheduled to open in Venice, Italy within a month. Arc International also plans 20 outlets in Japan under a master franchise agreement. The name of the chain is taken from the prestigious Venice-based glassware manufacturer, acquired by Arc in 1999. Each store will have a surface of 35 sq m, and offer a range of around 700 products in glass, ceramic and other materials.
