Application Of Oxygen Fuel Firing Systems For The Glass Melting Furnace Reduced Nox Emissions

The formation intensity of nitrogen oxides during glass melting was used to define environmental issues. No effort was spared in systemetising technical methods directed to reducing the impact of this phenomena. The use of oxy-fuel firing was thought to be one of the most likely future options when modernising the melting plant.
