Application Of 96/61/Ec/Ippc Directive To The Italian Glass Industry (In Italian)

The application of the European Directive 96/61/EC, Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control to the glass industry will require a significant effort, both technological and economical. The actions taken by the Italian Glass Industry, during the period 1990-1988, in order to reduce the environmental impact of the sector, are reported and compared with the emission limit values established in 1990 and with the objectives set in the Voluntary Agreement signed between Assovetro and the Ministry of the Environment.
