Antiques Of The Future?

Royal Brierley has launched a collection of 9 traditionally crafted decorative crystal pieces based on designs from the 19th & early 20th century. Every limited edition piece of the Heritage Collection has been created by hand using traditional craftsmanship & engraving techniques. The signature piece of the Collection is a celebration of the popular Chinoiserie decoration of the 1920s, a blue crystal Ginger Jar with cover. The rounded vase is highly decorated with oriental cherry blossom, created using the intaglio cutting technique. The cover matches the jar & has clear crystal finial. Also in the Collection is a burgundy coloured crystal Amphora Vase which uses an original glass colour recipe from the early 19th century. It has a delicately cut rim & has been hand-painted with intricate butterflies & flowers first introduced 150 years ago.
