Anti-Microbial Porcelain Enamels

Mill-added anti-microbial agents, such as silver, copper, or zinc, disposed on a particulate support are reported to offer reductions in the viability of staph bacteria from 70 to 100% using AATCC test method 100-1993. Used on various appliances, including water heaters, is suggested.
