The Analysis Ofglasses, Refractories, Ceramics, And Related Materials By Atomic Spectroscopy.

Major constituents can be determined by emission or absorption with accuracies that are competitive with classical procedures. In addition, the analysis times are sometimes one third of those required for the classical methods resulting in a large decrease in cost. Capabilities in analysis have also been expanded by the introduction of atomic spectroscopy with flameless excitation sources. In some cases, the resulting calibration curves extend from a few tenths to several nanograms of an element.
