Analysis Of Glasses By Atomic Absorption Spectrometry

After a brief discription of the equipment the following points are discussed: interference, measuring method, accuracy of measured results, application to routine analyses of glasses and comparison of other methods of analysis. It is shown that atomic absorption spectrometry is a method of rapid analysis and tolerable accuracy. It is suitable not only for routine analyses but also for special research such as the investigation of variations in concentration resulting from diffusion tests.
