The range of glass products covered are many & varied such as; bottles & jars; glazing (including commercial & automotive); domestic glass; technical glass; & pharmaceutical containers. Related services are: durability testing; compositional analysis & consultancy. Many of these services are UKAS accredited & are provided by experienced, multi-disciplinary staff specialising in all aspects of glass technology. The surface of glass can be a source of unique & wide-ranging problems & the properties of surfaces can be very different to the bulk properties which is critical to issues such as adhesion, coating & durability.
