Alkali Borosilicate Systems: Phase Diagrams And Properties Of Glasses

A review of glass properties and phase diagrams for alkali silicate, borate and borosilicate systems is represented as well as the results of a revision of the phase diagrams and crystalline compounds found in the systems. A comparison of the phase diagrams and properties of the glasses was performed with the aim of explaining the peculiarities of composition dependence of the properties of alkali borosilicate glasses.
