AGC Flat Glass Europe has combined glass & light in its new Glassiled - a laminated glass with embedded LEDs (light emitting diodes). Designed for use in building facades & interior decoration, Glassiled combines durability of laminated safety glass with the intense light & colour of LED technology. In Glassiled, tiny LEDs are sandwiched between two sheets of glass with no visible wires & are powered through an invisible conductive coating. The colour, number of LEDs & the cover & base glasses used can be varied, allowing the product to be personalised to create unique designs for the home, office or commercial buildings.
