Agc Brazil Plant Enters Production

AGC Glass Brazil Inc has begun production in Guaratingueta, Sao Paulo. Having cost around 300M/Euros to build, the plant is now ready for the mass production of architectural glass, mirrors and automotive glass. In line with its expectations, it will produce some 220,000/tpa float glass, process automotive glass for 500,000 vehicles and manufacture mirrors for the local market. It will also create 500 jobs by 2016.
