[Africa} Angolan Container Plant Embalvidro Lights Furnace

The world's latest Greenfield container glass plant, built by Angolan group Embalvidro, held its furnace lighting ceremony late in October and began producing its first bottled glass in mid-November. The glass plant has a 180/tpd furnace with three 10-section double-gob IS machines which will primarily supply beer bottles in green and amber to begin with.
