The Glass Manufacturers' Association of the Philippines (GMAPI) has announced that the 30th AFGM Conference will be held on 26-29 September 2006 at the Edsa Shangri-La in Ortigas Centre, Mandaluyong City, in Metro Manila, Philippines. This year's theme is "AFGM at 30: Visioning Glass in a Challenging Environment." Organisations and individuals re being invited to submit proposals for papers to be presented at the Technical Session. Papers can cover any aspect of the glass industry with relevance to the conference theme. Abstracts should be typed and double-spaced on A4 paper and should include a brief biographical summary of the author. Titles and abstracts should be submitted before 31 May; notification of acceptance will be made by 30 June 2006. Proposals should be emailed to P M Javier at: glasmate@pworld.net.ph
