Advances In Industrial Gas Supply For Glass Manufacturing

Oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen are imported materials used in the manufacturing of glass. Glass furnace throughput and efficiency are enhanced by conversion to oxy-fuel combustion while NOx emissions are reduced. Nitrogen and hydrogen are critical for maintaining the quality of glass from float facilities. This paper looks at recent advances in gas supply systems relevant to the glass industry.
