Advances In Cullet Treatment Technology

Through worldwide contracts and numerous projects, Zippe has acquired extensive know-how and a series of patents for its glass plants. The company's production programme is concentrated on batch plants (all of which are equipped with internal cullet return systems) for the hollow glass industry, float glass production, as well as tableware and special glass. But Zippe has also been designing glass recycling plants for many years. Besides the former so-called conventional recycling technology, glass grinding has now become established in this field too. Both recycling technologies are part of this paper.
