Advanced Glazings: Practical Problems Relevant To Their Optical Characterization

Advanced glazings (such as glazings with optimized angular transmittance selectivity, honeycomb or capillary structures, etc.) are highly versatile products, but production costs are very high. New kinds of spectrophotometers are required to perform reproducible and accurate measurements of transmittance and reflectance. Determination of spectral transmittance and reflectance allows the computation of integrated parameters.
