Advanced furnace control is one of the latest improvements in furnace and forehearth design and operation. This new concept allows to build knowledge about the process into the interactive control strategy. Most forming processes depend on precise conditions, hence, advanced control of these conditions can significantly improve these parameters and directly influence production efficiency. This article describes some practical results obtained from several industrial applications.
