Academy Of Arts, Architecture And Design In Prague

Ever since its foundation in 1885, the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague has played a pioneering role in the development and promotion of Czech glass art. Following the elevation of glass to a special department of its own after 1945, the school became a cradle for young glass artists, many of whom bought international recognition to this national art form.
