Aag Introduces Glass Coating Line

Al Abbar Architectural Glass has announced plans to expand its operations in the UAE through the introduction of an 18 cathode glass coating line with an annual capacity of around 2m square metres. Glaverbel equipment will be used to produce magnetron-sputtered coated glass using a vacuum electromagnetic process. The coated glass will be offered in a range of low-E coating types and a solar control range. The products will be marketed by Al Abbar Architectural Glass under the trade names Coolray, Coolpane and E-Cool. The coating line is due to be installed by January 2006.
