Solaglas recently announced that since the launch of WER Ready in April, 40 window companies have signed up to a new initiative, "WER Ready." The scheme is designed to help fabricators and installers get Window Energy Ratings (WER) easily and cost effectively and comply with new Building regulations which come into force October. The initiative is a step-by-step online support that provides all the required forms, templates, guidelines and key contacts for expert advice to make the process simple and quick. WER Ready also includes an exclusive partnership with Build Check - a BFRC Independent Agent, SGG EcoClear+, a sealed unit for achieving A, B & C ratings, and funding towards the cost of WERs. Solaglas' Manager Matthew Kirby said: "We are extremely pleased with the level of take-up for WER Ready, and are confident many more will sign up. The level of interest has been high, but many are putting it off because they think they can get their WERs easily and quickly closer to the time, but if you leave it late, you risk being caught up in the mass of window companies fighting to get WERs at the same time."
