British Glass Chief Executive Dave Dalton delivers a keynote speech at the inaugural Recycling Event next week (2 July).
The event, which takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, is the first major conference dedicated to recycling and has been developed in partnership with trade associations, including British Glass.
Dave’s talk on understanding the UK glass market will begin the day’s programme in the Market Intelligence Theatre at 9:30am.
Following his presentation Dave will join other members of the British Glass team on stand E5 in the main exhibiting hall.
The event is targeted at people working in a range of sectors including recycling, resources and waste management, retailers, manufacturers, local government and consultants.
Other presentations throughout the day include representatives from TerraCycle, INCPEN, WRAP, and Waitrose.
Speakers are spread across four conference theatres which will cover different topics across the day including:
- The Environment: for love or money? Theatre which is dedicated to the economic and environmental drivers for recycling
- The Delivery Theatre which will be looking at how the Resources & Waste Strategy will be implemented
- A Design for Lifecycle Theatre will look at how we design products for recyclability, using recycled content and reuse
- The Market Intelligence Theatre which will focus on recycling markets
Tickets are priced at £85 with £5 from each ticket sold being donated to WasteAid.
