Glazing in buildings – reducing energy use – NEF glazing supply chain group

This report examines and quantifies the potential energy savings to be achieved by installing energy efficient glazing. Buildings account for 40% of the UK’s total energy consumption – and much of this is wasted through old and poorly insulated windows and glazing systems. However, high performance, energy efficient glazing units have been developed through innovation in the glazing industry.
