Croxsons and Allied Glass make Luxury Packaging Awards shortlist

The shortlists for the 2017 Luxury Packaging Awards have been announced. British Glass members, Croxsons and Allied Glass have been selected for their entries in the Drinks Bottle category.

Croxsons – House of Elrick Gin

House of Elrick Gin is like no other, made using the finest botanicals, hinting towards the essence of our home in Scotland that includes heather pearls, rose petals and water from the oldest and deepest source of Loch Ness. This gives the Gin a unique balanced refreshing flavour with floral notes.

Nestled in the lowlands of Aberdeenshire, the House of Elrick estate is a home rich in history. Built at the height of the Scottish Enlightenment period in 1720, the home hosted lively discussions from some of the most respected creative, philosophical and scientific minds of the time.

Allied Glass – Highland Park Fire Edition

The Highland Park Fire Edition completes a special two-part series which celebrates some of the myths and legends emerging from the Viking age. This stunning expression tells the story of the realm of the Fire Giants and their epic battle against the Gods to rule the world. According to legend, Surtr was an evil Fire Giant who ruled the Fire Realm. He would sit at the edge of the Kingdom, defending the land holding a burning sword, which shone brighter and hotter than the sun.

In keeping with this theme, The Highland Park Fire is packaged in an exquisite crimson red coloured glass bottle. The colour was specially commissioned to represent the fierce and molten world of the Fire Giants and comes in a black wooden cradle and with a black stopper.
