British Glass announce new Head of Container Affairs
Submitted by Richard-Edgar on Thu, 2011-09-01 00:00
British Glass has appointed Rebecca Cocking as Head of Container Affairs. Rebecca joined British Glass in 2000 as Public Policy Manager before becoming Recycling Manager in 2005 where she focused on emerging issues around recycling and packaging waste. Rebecca’s new role will see her retain responsibility for this key area, while also incorporating legislation, publicity and lobbying activities. British Glass CEO Dave Dalton comments “Rebecca is a well respected figure in the industry and has considerable experience and knowledge of the glass sector. I look forward to her expanding her influence in this new role”. Rebecca’s remit includes liaison with European trade body FEVE and the provision of advice and information to the UK glass sector, supported by Data Analysis Officer Lucinda Henegham.
