Glass Focus Awards 2017
We are delighted to announce that our Glass Focus Awards 2017 – supported by Glass Worldwide – will take place on Thursday 15 June 2017. The awards showcase the innovation and excellence in glass that underpin our industry’s contribution to the economy, to society and to customers, staff and stakeholders.
This year the award ceremony and dinner will be held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds – at the centre of our country’s great east-west glass manufacturing corridor, where nine out of ten of the UK’s largest glass manufacturers have production sites.
Everyone with a stake in glass is invited to be part of the Glass Focus Awards 2017 – and once again we expect to see entries from, and be joined on the night by:
- glass manufacturers
- machinery and materials suppliers
- product designers and architects
- brands and buyers
- glass technologists.
Tickets sales open soon - sign up for our e-news to make sure you hear when they do.
It’s a great chance to get face-to-face with people from across the glass industry and show what we all can do – at individual, company and industry level.
The awards themselves will cover areas including product design, sustainability, health and safety, workforce development and more. See details for all the categories and how to enter.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Find out more about how your company can get involved.
This year’s Glass Focus Awards won’t be preceded by a conference, but complement our evolving series of targeted meetings and workshops – which take place throughout out the year to address policy, technical and business matters as they arise. This allows our members, partners and stakeholders to direct their involvement for maximum impact.
