British Glass AGM and Reform

British Glass 55th Annual General Meeting

Held at the offices based in Sheffield, Tuesday 14th December saw the 55th Annual General Meeting of the British Glass Manufacturers’ Confederation. The AGM marked the election of the new President, Mr Brian McMillan of Allied Glass Containers and former President Mr Stephen Pollock-Hill of Nazeing Glassworks elected as Vice President to the Confederation.

The British Glass Manufacturers’ Confederation would like to thank Mr Pollock-Hill for his work over the past year in his role as President, a transitional period, during which great progress was made in reforming the governing structures and broadening the membership recruitment base.

British Glass membership is now open to all companies involved in the glass supply chain and membership has been broadened to allow international companies to also become full members of the Confederation. British Glass will continue to adapt and improve its already excellent services to the members it serves and looks forward to welcoming new members both from the UK and from around the world.
