Name Change for Annual National Recycling Week

This year's national recycling week changes from 'the BIG recycle' to 'Recycle Now Week" - the national recycling campaign for England - and takes place from June 2 until June 8 2007.

Preparations are already under way for the week-long series of events by local authorities and an "action-packed week of fun events" is promised all around the country.

Each day of this year's campaign will highlight a different recyclable material - glass, plastic, paper, metals and organic garden waste. And once again the campaign is being supported by British Glass, Corus, Novelis, PaperChain and Recoup.
